Its the most wonderful time of the year

Don't you just love the atmosphere during this season ? Is it only me who feels a little bit more sentimental, sated, and just plain happier somehow. Is it me, or are people generally nicer too around this time ? I suspect that this phenomena is not only confined to developed or westernized countries. Maybe its a "the end of the year" thingy where people are just plain tired and worn out from the constant long drawn rat race, chasing down deals, managing too many issues at multiple fronts and are just too flat out at this time to push any further. Somehow, I don't think that's the primary reason.

This is also the season to look forward to year end parties (although that's not totally free of office politics from hearsay), organize home parties, get-togethers, re-acquaint with old friends, and make new ones. Its also the time to dress to your nines. Be it for a family or some hip mega-party to celebrate the season. All will want to look their ultimate best, make and dress up to feel good about themselves, and just plain have a whale of a time enjoying and celebrating the old year, and inviting the new with much anticipation.

Some of the fashion that I've seen that looks really quite cool comes from this brand of ladies wear. Take a look at this halter fistnet number. There's something about fishnet fashion that gets me a tax intoxicated even before I hit the bottle.  While I can't boast to be a bona fide fashion connoisseur, I would like to think (and this has been supported by my countless friends for my dress sense) that I know a good looking outfit when I see

There's something about this color that just shouts "Warning !  You may not be able to take the heat !!". This is an all season color, and with the right combination of stilletos, accessories, and hair-do, you'd be queen of the hill, or dancefloor or whatever. This number screams "Lets flirt",  look, but no touching unless I say so !! Its about control, passion and hints of the spiciness underneath the folds.
